This is my first blog post. It will be fun to write a little here and not just use social media.

I thought I would introduce ourselves a little. First of all, I may use we instead of I, this is due to my diagnosis as it makes me feel like we are multiple personalities in the same body. So don't be confused if I mix things up a bit.

My name is Joy and I am 39 years old. I live with several psychiatric diagnoses. My main diagnosis is Dissociative Identity Disorder, I also have complex PTSD, recurrent depression, self-harm, eating disorder problems, suicidality and a probable anoxic brain injury.

Six months ago I released my autobiography, Hon fall tung. In it I write about my childhood, illness, social services and my main diagnosis: Dissociative Identity Disorder.

Dissociative identity disorder is a trauma-related psychiatric diagnosis that can develop in childhood due to repeated long-term trauma. My traumas consist of severe sexual abuse and severe bullying.

Yesterday we were out picking mushrooms. We got almost 5kg of chanterelles so it was a successful mushroom trip. Last time we were out picking mushrooms we didn't find anything, well a couple of red fly agarics, but otherwise there were no mushrooms.

I would have liked to have a page here on the website about my lecturing. We have lectured a couple of times at a couple of folk high schools, for prospective social educators. We hope that in the future we will be able to lecture on a smaller scale. We love lecturing!
